About Us

Stony Point Theatre is composed of introductory to high level Acting classes, Technical Theatre classes, and Costuming classes. Throughout the year, we also put on seasonal shows (Spring and Fall), alternating between a musical and a straight play. Children’s show, Senior Directed plays, and a UIL One Act performance are additionally performed. The highest level theatre classes, titled Production, also put on several shows over the course of the school year. In the SPHS theatre department, we value building connections, maintaining a strong work ethic, and respecting others. Our dedication to create and maintain a strong family-type environment is a key factor in our continued success. Erin Barnes, Sunshine Parsons, and Carolina Naranjo are our three wonderful directors!
