About Us

Stony Point Theatre is composed of introductory to high level acting classes, Technical Theatre classes, and Costuming classes. Throughout the year, we also put on seasonal shows (Spring and Fall), one which is occasionally a musical, a Children’s show, Senior Directed plays, and a UIL One Act performance. The highest level theatre classes, called Production, also put on several shows across the course of the school year. In the SPHS theatre department, we value building connections, maintaining a strong work ethic, and respecting others. Our dedication to create and maintain a strong family-type environment is a key factor in our continued success. The programs' wonderful directors are tremendously dedicated to the students and to enhancing the program. Stony Point Theatre works hard to nurture young talent and inspire the next generation of thespians!
