About Us

Stony Point Theatre is composed of all levels of Acting, Technical Theatre, and Costuming classes. Throughout the year, we put on seasonal shows (Fall and Spring), a Children’s show, Senior-Directed plays, and a UIL One-Act performance. The highest level theatre classes, titled Production, also put on several shows over the course of the school year. Additionally, Stony Point has an active Drama Club (see this link to visit the Drama Club page). In the SPHS theatre department, we value building connections, maintaining a strong work ethic, and respecting others. Our dedication to creating and maintaining a strong family-type environment is a key factor in our continued success. Erin Barnes, Sunshine Parsons, and Carolina Naranjo are our three wonderful directors. They are tremendously dedicated to the students and to enhancing the program (see their contact information under Contact Us).
